Quality Engineer

Light Metals seeks hands on Quality Engineer. Candidate should have 2+ years’ experience in metal stamping and forming processes. Extrusion / Anodizing experience plus.

Responsibilities include:

· Monitoring quality of manufacturing processes and output to ensure customer requirements are maintained

· Coordinate auditor team members in daily task

· Drive and implement quality improvement activities

· Implement non-conforming procedures when required

· Root cause and corrective action activity

· First contact for customer quality

· Support project documentation such as FMEA, Control Plans, WI

· Training of associates on customer requirements, gage use

· Support Quality Manager internal / external audits

Requirements:

· Excellent communication skills

· Organizational skills

· The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assignments.

· The ability to manage Containment (Cost, Timing and Data)

· Any other duties identified by management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ISO9001, core quality tools, MS Office, data analysis, blueprint reading and part to print layout utilizing common measuring devices. A team player yet comfortable handling task alone. This is a day shift position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
