Anodize Ramp Operator

Job Description:

• The individual will successfully operate an anodize process line and will support production goals by processing material through the finishing lines efficiently while safely using overhead cranes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead crane through process line

• Produce ongoing line efficiency through timing of customer loads against maximizing process tank usage.

• Understand the operation of all tank procedures including process tank temperatures, running charts for both anodize tanks, special running instructions, proper rinse procedures, seal times and tanks for different finishes, returning/cleaning empty beams.

• Ability to keep up with daily tracking and process logs and maintain proper documentation.

• Rake assigned anodize tank(s) daily.

• Maintain safe working environment by keeping assigned work area clean and organized.

• Perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to working in other departments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Communicate effectively in English

• Ability to read, interprets and comply with company documents such as safety rules, work policies, procedures, operating and maintenance instructions.

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.

• Ability to reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time.

• Ability to use hands and fingers for dexterity related tasks.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with or without assistance.

• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts.

• Comfortable with exposure to chemicals at OSHA acceptable levels.

• Comfortable working in moderate noise levels.

• Comfortable working in hot and humid environment.
